It was recommended to me from the mothers and toddlers group which already had older children. Then they were gone all super excited, I moved straight into the city and bought it. I myself would have never chosen this book without this tip on the way home and was still fairly skeptical. It was a normal paperback, was only weakly colored pictures, at first glance really is no blockbuster. But no one can be deceived ....
This book is really absolutely the best read-aloud book that has fallen into my hands. Tim was enthusiastic from the beginning. We have him read the stories of the Seven Bobo certainly over a hundred times. Night after night. And as excited as Tim had other children, which I read over the years from this book or that I have given this book. And the nice thing, I like guys and girls alike.
Kids love exactly what makes this book seem at first glance it unspektaklär. The more than 200 pictures are kept very simple. All things that the children themselves have already experienced. The length of each story is also ideal for very young children. Particularly well illustrated Tim liked the way the index. This is what we always had to strike first, so he then could choose a story. As Bobo falls asleep on the way, the end of each story, the stories are particularly suitable as bedtime stories.
Mittlerweilen there are several follow-volumes, which touched but not in my opinion, the quality of the first volume. All books are available mitlerweile Bobo as a hardcover edition. I myself give away only the hardcover edition of the first Bobo Dormouse book because the book is thicker through the pages and hard cover much more stable. In addition, the images of the bound edition are colorful.
